There are a number of Theme parks and other attractions in the local area:

Terra Mitica is the largest local attraction, but unlike many other theme parks is relatively queue free. Normally open Easter to October - check their website for exact open times.

Terra Natura is the sister park to Terra Mitica and as its name implies it has a nature based theme - open year round

Aqualandia is Benidorm's water park, and has thrills and spills for all ages. Open May to October, again check their website for exact opening dates

Mundomar is another nature based theme park and shares the same site as Aqualandia

Benidorm Palace a night out for the adults with spectacular lido style show and a good meal

Fonts De Algar Just outside Callosa are the beautiful Fonts de Algar waterfalls.

Outdoor Activities

While Benidorm is famous for its beaches and high rise blocks few people realise that it is surrounded by fantastic countryside which can easily be explored.

Downhill Bike Ride an easy way to see the local countryside

Walking - there are many walks you can do locally ranging from an easy stroll out to Albir lighthouse to a strenuous walk to the top of the Puig Campana which at 1408m is higher than Ben Nevis

If you don't fancy walking you could always explore the country side on a Quad Bike or take a Jeep Safari

Trike Tours Benidorm offer chauffeur driven trips to those who are looking for fun, excitement and something totally different.

Golf - As mentioned on one of our other pages the Real De Faula Golf which opened in 2006 is only a short distance away.

Las Rejas Golf is a 9 hole Pitch & Putt course in Benidorm with a round costing 18€ for the 9 holes.

Boat trips run from the port in Benidorm to the Isla de Benidorm/Peacock Island where you can take and underwater ride on the yellow submarine, Calpe port with its good selection of sea-food restaurants and the Isla de Tarbarca to the south of Alicante.

Jet Ski tours are run from the port in Villajoyosa
